The First Reunion (October 5th and 6th '07) was absolutely fantastic !!! I want to thank everyone for being there and invite everyone who could not make this one to be at the next one. Master of Ceremonies Ken Cowan was like a pro and he delivered the performance of a lifetime onstage with the mic and as the main organizer of the event.

Special thanks to the honored speakers! The crowd of 200+ experienced many great moments and we laughed hard enough to make it hurt. Highlight moments were every time Ken had the mic, and speeches by Captain Turner, Captain Samples, MC Morrow, MC Greaney, Commander Childs, and Tim McFeely. We are so proud to have had 5 previous CO's and many of the previous XO's and COB's of the SSN 710 in attendance.

We had special letters of recognition and thanks from Senator Susan Collins and Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine. Each letter to the crew was received with tremendous reactions from the crowd.

Professional pictures of the event will still be available and I will post that address on the site this week.

Next event is forming the non-profit organization and forming the first Board of Directors.

Our latest information about the DECOMM is not solid yet. We are hearing February or March 2008 for the DECOMM Ceremony and locations either Norfolk or Groton.
